Life as an Interior Design student.
Hey there, lovely people! Welcome to my blog page. I want to keep things real and authentic here, so don't expect anything too formal or professional. But hey, that's what makes it fun, right?
I'm Maghanim, a 19-year-old writer and design student. That's just a quick intro, though. I have so much more to share with you all, and I can't wait to dive into it in my upcoming posts.
Life can be a bit of a juggling act, especially when you're involved in multiple things. But you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way. It keeps things exciting, even if it can be a bit tiring at times. Let's keep pushing forward and pursuing our passions!
Exhibit 1: How life can be when you're a design student?
Let's face it, being a design student can be rough. Sometimes, it downright sucks. Imagine having to churn out around 40 prototypes for some grandiose concept of yours that will probably never see the light of day in real life. It's enough to make you question your sanity. But then, amidst the chaos, there's that moment when your professor looks at your work and says, "Yes, Maghanim. You're definitely going in the right direction. Keep it up," with a big, reassuring smile. And suddenly, it all feels worth it.
So, here's my advice to all you fellow design enthusiasts out there, whether you're into interior design, graphic design, textile design, fashion design, architecture, game development, or anything else (apologies if I missed your major): every prototype you create is a step forward. Don't let rejection knock you down. Because before I finally got one of my prototypes selected, I faced two weeks of relentless rejection. Success doesn't come out of nowhere; it's the result of your persistent efforts.
And when you find yourself pulling all-nighters, overwhelmed by deadlines, remember: a midnight snack won't hurt, and it's perfectly okay to be addicted to caffeine (though I might not be the best influence on that front!). By the way, stay tuned for more coffee recipes—I've got plenty up my sleeve.
Lastly, here's a pro tip: grab a book. Seriously, it'll help keep you sane amidst the chaos. And if you don't have one handy, I'll gladly lend you mine. Oh, and speaking of books, did I mention I'm working on one too? Let me know if you're interested—I'd love to share updates with you all.
Well, that's all for now. I hope this message resonates with those who need to hear it. Until next time, take care, and remember, you've got this!
